Disciples Church Extension Fund

INDIANAPOLIS – Disciples Church Extension Fund (DCEF) welcomes a veteran congregational advisor to the Building and Capital Services staff for a transitional role with the lending and investment ministry.

William L. Bass (Bill), a third-generation Disciples member, former deputy regional minister, and long-time DCEF advisor, brings nearly four decades of experience to his role as Interim Senior Building and Capital Services Advisor.

“We are delighted that Bill is willing to step in for this short period as we begin a national search for a Vice President of Building and Capital Services,” said Belinda R. King, DCEF CEO & President. “Bill has a wealth of knowledge to share with our advisor team and a great heart for this ministry. We look forward to his contributions.”

Bill Bass started at DCEF in 1998, where he served through his retirement in 2010. Then, he continued for more than a year, to ease DCEF through transitions at the time. He serves as a Regional Elder for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Indiana, and as the board chair of Tapestry Church, his home congregation in Greenwood, IN, near Indianapolis.

Bill and his spouse Carol Bass make their home in Indianapolis.
