Rev. Powell has over 30 years of bi-vocational experience in ministry and commercial banking, including strategic planning, lending, and corporate mergers. In his new role, he will guide the organization through transition as the Board works to call the next new President and CEO.

“Rev. John Powell possesses the gifts and graces that will serve the mission of Disciples Church Extension Fund well during this season of transition,” said Board Chair Martha A.
