Disciples Church Extension Fund of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada announced that Maribeth Westerfield has been promoted to assistant vice president for Loan and Capital Services.
Westerfield will be responsible for supervising the work of the Disciples Church Extension Fund advisors and overseeing the ministry’s Building and Capital Services functions, including a new fundraising service and relocation service.
Prior to joining Disciples Church Extension Fund, Westerfield was a senior pastor for University Place Christian Church in Enid, Okla. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Christian University, a Master of Divinity from Phillips Theological Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry from Lexington Theological Seminary.
Westerfield resides in Martinsville, Ind.
