{"id":4305,"date":"2019-04-24T10:50:01","date_gmt":"2019-04-24T15:50:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.disciplescef.org\/?p=4305"},"modified":"2020-03-18T10:45:18","modified_gmt":"2020-03-18T14:45:18","slug":"hope-partnership-announces-new-structure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/disciplescef.org\/blog\/hope-partnership-announces-new-structure\/","title":{"rendered":"Hope Partnership announces re-structuring plans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4691 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.disciplescef.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Hope-logo-color-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2400\" height=\"1196\" srcset=\"https:\/\/disciplescef.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Hope-logo-color-1.jpg 2400w, https:\/\/disciplescef.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Hope-logo-color-1-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/disciplescef.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Hope-logo-color-1-768x383.jpg 768w, https:\/\/disciplescef.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Hope-logo-color-1-1024x510.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/disciplescef.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Hope-logo-color-1-1080x538.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2400px) 100vw, 2400px\" \/>INDIANAPOLIS \u2013 (April 3, 2019) Since 2012, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hopepmt.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hope Partnership for Missional Transformation<\/a> has functioned as an independent collaborative ministry with Disciples Church Extension Fund (DCEF), providing leadership development and congregational revisioning services to more than 1,300 churches throughout the U.S. and Canada.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Starting June 1, the operations of Hope Partnership will be administered through DCEF, permitting Hope to serve its mission even more effectively.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThis is a ministry-driven decision,\u201d says Gilberto Collazo, President of Hope Partnership. \u201cWith this change in structure, we will be able to cut overhead and offer our services at a reduced cost, allowing us to help more of the congregations that need us most.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Under its established name and identity, Hope Partnership will continue to work with clients by offering its proven programs, including <a href=\"https:\/\/disciplescef.org\/plan\/new-beginnings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New Beginnings<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/disciplescef.org\/plan\/epiphany\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Epiphany<\/a>. And, because the need for leadership development and congregational transformation crosses denominational lines, Hope Partnership will also enhance service relationships with ecumenical partners like the United Church of Christ, Presbyterian Church (USA), Presbyterian Church (Canada), Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), and the Episcopal Church.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThis is really an internal consideration,\u201d says Rick Reisinger, DCEF President. \u201cWe had the capacity to take on Hope\u2019s administrative functions and the directors and staff of Hope wanted to focus exclusively on their mission and ministry. In fact,\u201d he notes, \u201cHope Partnership actually grew out of DCEF seven years ago. So it feels natural, moving forward, that the services of Hope Partnership will again be available through us.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Donations made to Hope Partnership will continue to benefit the Disciples congregations using its services.<\/p>\n<p>Congregational vitality and sustainability are, in part, the result of effective stewardship of capital and leadership resources. These are the missions of DCEF and Hope Partnership.<\/p>\n<p>The ministries, under the umbrella of Church Extension Financial &amp; Missional Resources (CEFMR), partner with Disciples in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico and, in some cases, other Christian denominations throughout the U.S. and Canada to find new and innovative ways to transform communities through service-driven mission and ministry.
