Indianapolis, December 10, 2012 \u2013 Disciples Church Extension Fund, a ministry of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada<\/a>, announces staff<\/a> and director<\/a> appointments:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Rosario Ibarra has been named building and capital services advisor for Disciples Church Extension Fund. In this role, Ibarra provides congregations with culturally relevant strategic planning, building planning, capital fundraising, loan and investment services. Ibarra\u2019s responsibilities also include monitoring congregational loan performance from origination and negotiation to underwriting.<\/p>\n

\u2028\u201cWe are thrilled that Rosario Ibarra has accepted her call to join Disciples Church Extension Fund,\u201d says President Rick Reisinger. \u201cHer past experience as an advisor to congregations, a financial loan officer and minister will further complement our ministries and help us develop stronger partnerships with our constituents.\u201c<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ibarra has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Ricardo Palma University in \u2028Peru and a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Calif. She is originally from Peru.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Dennis Williams has been elected to the Disciples Church Extension Fund board of directors. Williams is the regional minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Arizona.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Mary S. Beight was recently named Disciples Church Extension Fund\u2019s vice president for Loan Services. She previously served the ministry as the\u00a0corporate secretary and assistant treasurer.<\/p>\n

Together with our investors and partners, we offer mission-driven capital planning and funding services to ministries across the Disciples family. Money invested by Disciples through Disciples Church Extension Fund (DCEF) helps to fund low-cost loans to congregations with an emphasis on \u201cministry first.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
