Disciples Church Extension Fund of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada<\/a> announced that Maribeth Westerfield has been promoted to assistant vice president for Loan and Capital Services.<\/p>\n

Westerfield will be responsible for supervising the work of the Disciples Church Extension Fund advisors and overseeing the ministry\u2019s Building and Capital Services functions, including a new fundraising service and relocation service.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining Disciples Church Extension Fund, Westerfield was a senior pastor for University Place Christian Church in Enid, Okla. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Christian University, a Master of Divinity from Phillips Theological Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry from Lexington Theological Seminary.<\/p>\n

Westerfield resides in Martinsville, Ind.<\/p>\n
